Yes, I know there are lots of these. But there you go - this summer has been Vespa this, Vespa that. There is also a milestone in this picture. This is the first pic of the Vespa after passing the 10 000 km mark. I got it on May 7th with 0 km on the odometer, so that makes it just over 2 500 km a month. Why buy one if you don't like riding?

Henry's Pub has these jam sessions. Blues-Huttunen from Nilsiä is a regular. He comes in every month and plays as many blues standards as he's allowed. He's a really good guitar player - the only problem is that he plays blues standards.

Yet Another Vespa Shot

When I arrived, the ferry was 4-5 m away from the shore. That's enough. Oh, and this is taken with only a streetlight as a light source. Of course it's grainy, and there is some noise, but I think it still looks good. I haven't even used a noise reduction filter on it. Amazing for a phone camera.

Every fall the central heating kicks in a little bit after it gets cold. Not that it's too much of a hassle to put on a long sleeved hoodie or something for an hour or two in the morning.

It has happened at least three times this riding season. I look out of the window, the sun is shining. I put on my riding gear and take the lift down, and during this time it has started to rain. It's amazing.
